Benalmadena
Benalmadena is located to the west of Malaga and split into three distinctive areas; the old town of Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and its marina and the commercial town centre of Arroyo de la Miel.
Benalmadena Pueblo is set back from the coastal area and still retains much of its original Andalucian old town charm. Meander through the maze of narrow streets and amoungst the traditional whitewashed houses so typical to the Costa del Sol in order to explore the towns rich history and culture. The Pueblo offers an array of Spanish restuarants and tapas bars providing the perfect surroundings to try the local cuisine.

The coastal area of Benalmadena is a tourist haven with its long sandy beaches and award winning marina. The beaches offer a wide range of watersports and leisure activities not to mention the smart promenade that stretches for several kilometres along the coast which is ideal for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the views of the Meditteranean. All culinery delights are catered for with all nationalities of restaurants being represented somewhere along the coastal area so there is something to suit everyone. The local dishes that the Costa del Sol has to offer are widely available in the selection of traditional 'chiringuito' beach bars that pepper the coastline and are not to be missed!

The stunning marina is fast becoming 'the place' the be seen on the Costa del Sol and is certainly giving the more famous and well known Puerto Banus a run for its money! The marina is one of the livliest places for nightlife in Spain and has something to suit all tastes from the lastes in club sounds to salsa and jazz.

Benalmadena has plenty to offer for family days out including the Tivoli World theme park, Selwo Marina and the cable car which on clear days offers amazing views of the Costa del Sol, Africa and the Atlas Mountains.
